Local Students Help Homeless Pets at the Maryland SPCA

Students, faculty and parents from Catonsville Middle School, Hillcrest Elementary School and Ilchester Elementary School delivered carloads full of pet toys, treats and supplies to the Maryland SPCA in Hampden on Friday, December 13.

The students began collecting the donations for the homeless pets at the MD SPCA since early November.  This was the second year students from these schools organized the toy and supply drive that coincided with the MD SPCA’s Presents for Pets toy drive.

Throughout the entire month of December, the MD SPCA is collecting new dog and cat toys and treats so that every pet that comes to the MD SPCA now through the end of next year will have fun toys to play with and tasty treats to enjoy until they are adopted.  For more information about Presents for Pets, visit www.mdspca.org.
