O'Malley's fault - per usual! Just like our #1 schools and our #1 wealth and our #1.... So terrible!

You mean a GOOD sports bar. Babe's was a sports bar...but sucked. Galaxy kinda meets the specifications of a sports bar...but it sucks (and is slated to close w/City Place redevel).

If you're going to troll like the handful of other far right whiners who have nothing better to do with there lives (seriously, people, maybe if you worked a bit harder your lives would be better? Blaming O'Malley or immigrants for your suckiness is just sad), at least do it properly, please. The ICC was Ehrlich's baby and the new casino you're whining about won't be built for years. It makes far more sense to whine about imaginary tax burdens and liberal conspiracies to hide your money. #sarcasm

Could be worse - at least they had the foresight to make the top half of the county an ag preserve. Agree they need to do more to limit growth in sprawl areas.

"Weaver had what she considers the best solution: Move closer to work."

Indeed. Obviously that's not always possible (mostly for poor people), but a whole lot of these transportation issues would easily be solved if more people simply took control of their lives instead of sitting around whining about perfectly solvable problems.

You cite the number of people leaving/dying yet ignore that MORE people than that are becoming millionaires/are millionaires who move into MD. The % of millionaires in MD has continued to increase, y/y. We're up to 7.31% at this point (if I recall correctly that's up from something like 6.7% 2 years back and 6.9% a year ago) - #1 in the nation. This could not be more simple. I certainly hope everyone with more than two brain cells can see that your claims are 100% misleading.

...of course children don't pay taxes...yet. That's the entire point, we give them what they need to succeed (which, believe it or not, includes a freakin breakfast 180 days a year). The point is children receive benefits (and don't pay their fair share - yet - which is obvious and understandable) while you receive benefits without paying your fair share, e.g. you only pay a fraction of the cost of the road usage you like to brag about, which is obviously unacceptable. You hold impoverished 1st graders to a higher standard than yourself which makes zero sense. I'd be okay if you were an actual conservative and called for and equal removal of all subsidies, but that's nowhere near the case. You say the handouts you receive are okay because "According to the law I pay my fair share", but according to the law impoverished people pay their fair share, too. You think you're entitled to all the subsidized crap handed to you, yet poor kids getting 60 cents off their school meal bothers you. Absolutely insane.

"I'm leaving and soon. I hope you remain and find happiness." Good. At least we agree on something and I'm happy for you. Hopefully you'll be able to find somewhere that hates on kids and poor people. Somewhere not liberal, but also not religious/social conservative (pesky "feed the poor" morals). Or actual conservative - they'll take issue with the selectivity of your anti-handout outlook. Good luck finding your bliss.

You say that as if your V8 driving self doesn't drive on massively subsidized roads and your mortgage payment isn't massively subsidized with tax deductions. You suck on the public teet a whole lot more than some poor kid getting a reduced price breakfast.
