One Maryland Broadband Network sounds like an excuse to not have real investment in broadband internet service for all. If someone invests private money in building a network, there is no reason for any large institution to sign on when they are getting a sweetheart deal from the state.

Those poor people should stop electing the same folks who are going to keep their taxes and water bills above a reasonable/affordable rate. Personally, I don't think we should re-elect anyone for City Council or Mayor. There is a reason Baltimore City charges more in local property, business (you will pay more for anything you purchase), and income taxes than other counties in MD and that reason is quite simply that they can. Furthermore, it doesn't matter what you call it (a fee, fine, tax etc.), it's still something that will make life more unbearable for those who are working and just making ends meet. These charges for government no matter what you call it, are a tax and to call a tax anything other than a tax is just putting lipstick on a pig.

So the DPW screws up and we just give them more money...typical of Baltimore. You know the funny part of all of this is that Baltimore County has their water supplied by the city (Baltimore City owns the reservoirs, pipes, filtration systems, etc.) but the county sets their own rate which it gets to dictate what Baltimore City gets...in other words, us city residents are also paying for their infrastructure improvements if they decide against a rate hike for their county and the city is stuck charging it’s residents more because the city owns the infrastructure that is need of repairs/replacement in both the city and the county. It’s also kind of funny because Baltimore County residents have fewer users per foot of main (which means that the cost of maintenance and repairs per user is higher).

It will be much nicer than having to drive to Green Belt or College Park to pick up the Metro to take my family out to DC for the day. It will also come in handy if I have a weekend flight out of Reagan.

Maybe he will join Obama's cabinet instead. He will have to wait until someone steps down on their own because the President will never kick someone out no matter how shady or how bad them make him look, just look at Eric Holder. This may be the perfect gig for O'Malley.

This is how to get your grass cut in Bmore, pay a crack head 5 bucks for a row house yard and $10 for a single family house yard. If they don't do a good job, don't pay em'. I don't recommend letting em' cut the grass if you are not home. If you live near a Home Depot or Broadway and own a lawn mower, you can always get an immigrant to cut your grass for cheap. Personnally, I cut my own grass but this is how I would do it if didn't want to.

But should to cops have to risk their life and limb for an idiot walking around with what appears to be a gun. You know they are not bullet proof and they have families as well. Here is a thought, don't go out and wave around what appears to be a gun when you are up to no good...I think the cops made a good call on this one

A pit full of lions to throw all of the fat white trash, litter bugs, ghetto kids, junkies, absentee landlords, prostitutes, drug dealers, people who do things that bring bed bugs to their neighbors row houses (pick up and use old mattresses and alike), people whose sanitation standard brings roaches, rats, and mice to their block, people who think that when they are driving down the road a window is the same thing as a trash can, people with teardrop tattoos on their faces, people with any tattoos in their faces, people who sit out on their porch drinking in the morning, people who act like their child can do no wrong while the children terrorize the neighborhood and steal anything that is not bolted down, etc. These lions will be very well fed...Maybe we can have a partnership with the zoo.
