Catonsville Kidnapping and Rape Suspects Linked to Five Other Violent Crimes

Two men facing charges for the rape of two women abducted from Catonsville bus stops have been linked to six other violent crimes—and may be responsible for additional crimes, according to Baltimore County Police Chief James Johnson. William Justin Campbell, 25, and Kenyon Travis Waller, 22, "are responsible for a crime spree that dates back to at least August 11th of this year" and ended when they were apprehended on Oct. 1 and charged with robbery, kidnapping, rape and sexual assault, Johnson said at a press briefing at Baltimore City Police headquarters. Two Charged in Sexual Assault in Woods Near CHS

Two juveniles face charges of sexual offense, assault in incident during Catonsville Stars homecoming game at high school athletic field, according to police.

Two juvenile males face charges linked to an Oct. 20 sexual assault of two 13-year-old girls near the Catonsville High School athletic field, according to police. Police spokeswoman Cpl. Cathleen Batton said two suspects were arrested and charged with sexual offences and assault. The suspects are 14 and 15 years old, Batton said. The police do not release the names of juveniles charged with crimes unless they are charged as adults. According to police, at around 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 20, the girls met a male acquaintance and three of his friends near the athletic field concession stand during a Catonsville Recreation and Parks football game. Three of the four suspects linked to Oct. 20 sexual assault reported at Catonsville High School property have been identified by police, according to officials.

Investigators have learned the identities of three of the four suspects involved in a sexual assault of two 13-year-old girls that reportedly occurred at Catonsville High School on the night of Oct. 20, according to police. "Three of the four suspects have been identified for the sexual assault that occurred at the Rec and Parks football game on Saturday night," said police spokeswoman Cpl. Cathleen Batton. Two 13-year-old girls reportedly dragged into woods and sexually assaulted during Catonsville Recreation and Parks youth football homecoming games on Saturday.

The sexual assault of two 13-year-old girls that reportedly occurred Saturday evening near a Catonsville High School athletic field took place during or shortly after a Catonsville Stars football game. Eleven games were played on Saturday as Catonsville Recreation and Parks youth football celebrated its homecoming, according to the program's President Bryan Wynn. "There were games all day long," Wynn said. According to police, at around 9:30 p.m., the two girls met a male acquaintance and three of his friends near the athletic field concession stand. Two 13-year-old girls dragged into wooded area and assaulted on Oct. 20 by acquaintances who exposed themselves.

Two 13-year-old girls were sexually assaulted on Oct. 20 after a football game at Catonsville High School, according to police. The victims, the identities of whom have not been released, met up with an acquaintance described as a classmate of one of the girls, according to police spokeswoman Cpl. Cathleen Batton. Batton said that the victims did not attend Catonsville High School. The school affiliation of the suspects, if any, is unknown, she said. At around 9:30 p.m., the victims met the acquaintance near the athletic field concession stand, who was joined by three other male suspects, Batton said. Well said Maryland Mama and I agree 100%. My 13 year old has hung out with friends on a Saturday to watch rec football games @ CHS. So, it is more disturbing to me to hear this has happened, then nit picking the article for bias and misleading information. Why are we more concerned about the "reputation" of CHS, then what happened to these girls.   more ›

Catonsville Kidnapping, Rape Suspects Identified

Two Baltimore City men face multiple charges related to abduction and sexual assault of victims near Edmondson and Ingleside avenues in Catonsville, police disclosed Tuesday night. According to police, on Monday a 17-year-old victim was abducted after leaving a bus at Edmondson and Ingleside, driven to an alley in Baltimore City, and sexually assaulted. UPDATE: Two Arrested In Connection With Catonsville Rape

Charges are expected to be filed against two Baltimore City men arrested after police say they abducted a woman at Edmondson and Ingleside avenues and sexually assaulting her.

5:51 p.m. update: Police said that the men arrested in connection with an Oct. 1 abduction and rape may be responsible for other similar crimes—including a Sept. 25 incident at the same intersection of Edmondson and Ingleside avenues. According to police, at around 12:40 p.m. on Monday, a 17-year-old girl exited a bus at Edmondson and Ingleside and was walking to another bus stop when a Ford SUV pulled up beside her. The driver got out of the car and forced the victim into the vehicle, police said in a release. A second suspect was in the back seat of the vehicle, armed with a handgun, according to police. 6:45 p.m. Update: University of Maryland, Baltimore County police have charged a student in the sexual assault of two female students on the evening of Tuesday, Sept. 20. Charles Edward Williams, 21, of the 600-block of Rest Avenue in Catonsville, faces two charges of assault and two charges of sexual assault. If convicted of all the charges, Williams faces 31 years in prison, according to UMBC deputy police chief Paul Dillon.
