Things are expected to cool down starting Thursday, as a system rolls in bringing a 40 percent chance of thunderstorms. Rain chances rise to 60 percent Thursday night and into Friday.

We can expect breezy and cooler conditions in Pikesville for most of this week, according to the National Weather Service forecast. The worst of the winds are Monday, with gusts forecast up to 29 mph, and west to northwest winds through Wednesday. Temperatures won't get above the low 50s, according to forecasters. A chance of sprinkles is in the forecast for Monday afternoon, with a 60 percent chance of rain on Thursday night and into Friday.

The Weather Channel's forecast calls for rain in the Catonsville area Monday afternoon and returning overnight Monday, with cloudy conditions much of the day. The National Weather Service calls for a 40 percent chance of showers Tuesday. Tempoeratures could get into the low 50s on Tuesday, but highs won't get above the 40s for the rest of the week, according to forecasters.
