Cardin School Gym Teacher Charged with Child Abuse

Baltimore County Police said the victim, now 20, was a student during the four years of alleged abuse by a man who resides in Cockeysville, and there could be more victims.

A former student at Shoshana S. Cardin School told police that her gym teacher and coach at the private school in Pikesville sexually abused her for years. Foye C. Minton Jr., 33, of Cockeysville, has been charged with child abuse against a female student for offenses that police allege began in 2009 and continued for about four years, according to a news release from Baltimore County police. The woman, now 20, contacted police last month to report the alleged abuse, according to the release. It's not clear whether Minton is still employed by the school.
