Halethorpe MARC Station's Closed Parking Reopens Wednesday
The portion of the parking lot that's been closed for construction opened Wednesday morning.
The part of the Halethorpe MARC Train station parking lot that's been closed recently was reopened by the Maryland Transit Administration Wednesday morning. The MTA sent out a press release Tuesday saying that about 200 parking spaces would be available once more thanks to the reopening of the section, which had been closed due to the installation of an 80-foot pedestrian bridge. That bridge, a 40-ton structure that MTA contractors put up last weekend, is going to link the north and south platforms. The installation of this bridge is part of the final phase of a $21 million renovation project at the station.
