How to shave 50% or more off your grocery bill. No, seriously.

Clipping coupons is not just about saving money.  Most of the time it's like a competition between myself and me.  How much money can I save and what I can get for free?   A few weeks ago I was at Super Fresh, where they double coupons up to $.99. Actually, most of the stores around here only double up to $.99, so you could really do this anywhere.  On this particular day they were tripling coupons— I was able to combine sales, store coupons and manufacturer's coupon for huge savings. When the clerk was done scanning my 20 or so coupons and gave me my total, the guy standing behind me with his pregnant wife said, "Wow, those things really add up. You saved $30 just with coupons."
