Water Main Break Fixed

A 12-inch main broke on Frederick Road.

A water main break on Frederick Road that took place on Tuesday was repaired again by early Wednesday morning, according to the City's Department of Public Works. There was a 12-inch water main break in the 5400 block of Frederick Road on Tuesday afternoon, and that affected 12 services, according to Kurt Kocher, department spokesman. Kocher said Wednesday that everything was fixed by 8 a.m. Wednesday. No major facilities were affected by the break.

Actually, I live right there and it broke at 2am on Tuesday. We were woken up by utility repair men who came into our house to check our basement for a possible gas leak, as the rupture was pressing on the gas line.
