Catonsville Crime: Sex Offense, Burglaries Reported

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department's Wilkens Precinct. Charges do not indicate convictions.

A girl reported that, when she was 13, she became pregnant by her ex-boyfriend who was 19 years old. On May 15, the girl, who is 35 weeks pregnant, was in St. Agnes Hospital and reported the incident to hospital staff, according to a report by Baltimore County police. The hospital notified police, it states. "Victim was 13 years old when the incident occurred and advised the sex was consensual," the report states. The second-degree rape allegedly happened from Sept. 25 to Oct. 9 in the 300 block of Suter Road in Catonsville. The ex-boyfriend has not yet been charged, it states. Report: Machete-Wielding Man Threatens To Kill Motorist

A motorist being tailgated and harrassed by a man in a black SUV pulled over and ended up in a life-threatening situation. At 10:11 a.m. May 13, the victim, a man who resides in Catonsville, was driving in the area of 4000 Wilkens Ave., Catonsville, when a black SUV began following him. Its occupant yelled obscenities at him, according to a report by Baltimore County police. The motorist pulled over into a parking lot, the SUV followed him and its occupant got out, "pulled a machete and threatened to kill the victim," the report states. Editor's Note: The motorist pulled into a parking lot in the 4600 block of Wilkens Avenue.

Whether it is technically Catonsville or not, it is certainly close enough that I want to be informed as to what is going on in our area. Woman Dead, Man Injured in Arbutus Incident

A 45-year-old woman was killed Friday in Arbutus, Baltimore County police said.

A woman is dead and a man is in critical condition after an apparent attempted murder-suicide Friday in Arbutus. Baltimore County police responded to a tip that a man had killed someone in a residence in the 4700 block of Belwood Green and that the man was planning to kill himself. A tactical team entered and found the woman dead and the man unconscious. The unidentified man was transported to shock trauma and was listed in critical but stable condition Saturday afternoon. The woman was identified as Kathleen Washington, 45, of the 4700 block of Belwood Green. The man, who police said was injured by self-inflicted wounds, was not immediately identified by police. Wilkens Precinct Crime: Burglars Break into Burger King, Radio Shack

Burger King was burgled last week, and only a fountain drink was stolen. At 4:55 a.m., a burglar came in through a window at 3840 Washington Blvd. in Arbutus, made a fountain drink and left. The suspect is described as a white male, ages 25-35. He is 5-foot-10 and weighs 170 pounds. He wore a white hoodie, bluejeans and carried a white book bag. Arbutus Lorena Avenue. 3200 block. Strangers Invade Catonsville Home

Police: Residents were tied up, threatened at gunpoint.

A man and woman were allegedly held at gunpoint Sunday after three men invaded their home. Between 4:58 a.m. and 5:08 a.m., the residents were at home in the 300 block of Stratford Road in Catonsville when the men broke in, tied up the male resident and pointed a "long gun" at him, according to a report by Baltimore County police. The invaders, who the residents do not know, stole two TVs, two laptop computers, a cell phone, cash and a red purse, the report by the Wilkens precinct states.

Police: K-9 Catches Alleged Burglar

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department's Wilkens precinct. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

A police dog helped the Baltimore County Police Department catch a burglary suspect earlier this month. Mark Stacey Wooten, 44, faces burglary charges after he allegedly went into a garage in Catonsville and stole a Honda lawnmower, according to a report by the Wilkens precinct. The alleged crime occurred at 11:22 p.m. May 1 in the 600 block of Charing Cross Road, the report states. A resident heard a noise near the garage, and saw "a black male walking down the driveway to the garage," according to a police spokeswoman. A police dog found the lawn mower with Wooten, near the 700 block of Charing Cross Rd, the spokeswoman said in an email. "The suspect fled and was apprehended in a small wooded area near Martin Drive and Sedgewood Road," …

Police: Juvenile Robbed while Trying to Sell Marijuana

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department's Wilkens precinct. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

An alleged marijuana sale took a turn when the seller was robbed. Between 4:35 and 4:40 p.m. April 28, a juvenile was at the intersection of Briarwood and Frederick roads in Catonsville, "attempting to sell marijuana" when an adult, alleged client, robbed the juvenile, according to a report by Baltimore County police. Lloyd Michael Jefferson, 26, of the 600 block of Center St. in Manchester, CT, allegedy "produced a knife and took cash and drugs," the report states. Jefferson was arrested and charged with armed robbery, theft of less than $1,000, and first-degree assault, according to court records. He is being held on $250,000 bond in the Baltimore County Detention Center, the records state. His preliminary hearing is May 24. Police did …

Burglar Swipes 20 Truck Batteries

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department's Wilkens precinct. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

A burglar cut a hole in a fence to steal vehicle parts. Between 8 p.m. April 25 and 10 a.m. April 29, someone stole 20 truck batteries from the Penske Trucking Co. located in the 3200 block of Hammonds Ferry Roadd, according to a report by Baltimore County police.
