Oct. 12: At 5:12 a.m., an unknown suspect forced open the door lock to a shed on the unit block of Ridge Rd. and took a leaf blower, a generator and a table saw. Oct. 20: Between 4-6:20 p.m., an unknown suspect entered a residence on the 100 block of Cherrydell Rd. through an unlocked door and took a television, a DVD player, jewelry and currency.

Oct. 13: At some time since 7 p.m. of the previous day, an unknown person took a mountain bike from a residence on the 400 block of Greenlow Rd. Oct. 15: At some time since 4 p.m. on Oct. 12, an unknown person removed two 30-foot sections of copper drain pipes from St. Marks School at 30 Melvin Ave. Oct. 15: At some time since 10 p.m. of the previous day, an unknown person entered a residence on the 300 block of N. Beaumont Ave. through a side basement window. Once inside, the suspect kicked open an inside bedroom door and rummaged through the room, but nothing was taken.

Oct. 6: At some time since 4:30 the previous afternoon, an unknown person entered a garage on the unit block of N. Beechwood Ave. and took two video game controllers and 12 video games. Oct. 12: At some time since 10 p.m. the previous evening, an unknown person stole a weed trimmer from a residence on the unit block of N. Prospect Ave. Oct. 14: Between 2:30-2:58 a.m., an unknown person entered a residence on the unit block of Wyndcrest Ave. through an unlocked back door and took a video game system, a Vera Bradley purse and $200. The suspect dropped the video game in the driveway as he was being chased by the victim.

A burglar stole plumbing pipes from a storage shed adjacent to Western School of Technology on Oct. 2, according to a police report. At around 12:16 a.m., an unknown suspect used a tool to cut a chain to the gate of a storage shed and stole an unknown amount of plumbing pipes, the report said. When confronted by a witness, the suspect fled the scene in a white Dodge Caravan, according to the report. The suspect was not located despite a search of the area by police vehicles, the report said.

The burglar allegedly fell from a balcony in the 4500 block of Roland Avenue.
An alleged burglar fell from a third floor balcony in Roland Park and died from his injuries. Sgt. Anthony Smith, a Baltimore police spokesman, said a resident returned home on Monday to the 4500 block of Roland Avenue, and saw a man pacing on the balcony. The man then tried to climb down the railing from the balcony, lost his grip and fell about 26 feet to a concrete walkway below. The resident called 911 for help, but at 1:09 p.m. the alleged burglar, described as a 55-year-old man, was pronounced dead at Sinai Hospital. Police investigating the scene found evidence consistent with a burglary including a broken window and a ransacked home.

Sept. 24: At some time since 8 a.m. of Sept. 20, an unknown person entered an unlocked shed on the 400 block of Waveland Rd. and took a chain saw and pressure washer. Sept. 24: Between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., a resident on the 300 block of N. Rolling Rd. and found two laptop computers, three silver rings, a pair of pearl earrings and two gold bracelets had been stolen. The victim said that the back door had been left unlocked. No signs of forced entry were seen. Sept. 26: At some time since 10 p.m. the previous evening, an unknown suspect broke the rear door to a business on the 1100 block of N. Michael Anthony Scheele, 42, of no fixed address, reportedly broke into his ex-girlfriend's residence several times.
A man was charged with burglary on Sept. 23 after breaking into his ex-girlfriend's residence several times, according to a police report. Michael Anthony Scheele, 42, of no fixed address, broke a window and repeatedly entered a residence on the 300 block of Stratford Rd, the police report said. Scheele, who police said was intoxicated and homeless, was charged with fourth degree burglary, according to the report. No property was stolen from the home.

The group was found inside of a vacant Frederick Road home on Sept. 21.
Four people were arrested and charged with burglary after being caught inside a vacant home in the 6400 block of Frederick Rd. on Sept. 21, according to a police report. Arrested were Stephanie Ann Barnabae, 48, and Justin Zachary Barnabae, 23, both of the 100 block of Hillside Rd.; Charles Henry Hoerl, 43, of the unit block of Belle Grove Rd.; and Steven Craig Clark, 57, of the unit block of Carroll Rd., according to the report. The suspects were found inside the home at around 4 p.m., and entered the home by breaking a rear window, according to police. They did not have permission to be in the residence, according to the report. All four were charged with fourth-degree burglary, the police report said.

Sept. 11: At some time since 8 p.m. the previous evening, unknown suspects hit three office suites on the 6600 block of Baltimore National Pike. The suspects attempted to break into one suite by prying open a rear door. A second suite under construction was broken into and tools were moved, but nothing was taken. A third business was broken into by prying open the front door. Once inside, the suspects attacked an ATM with a grinder and stole money from the machine as well as money from cash register drawers.
