The robber forced a woman in her car at gunpoint and had her drive to an alley.
A robber stole money, a phone and keys from an Arbutus woman after forcing her into her car at gunpoint. Police patrolled and sent a K-9 unit to the scene, the 5400 block of Dolores Avenue, after the call came in at 11:28 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14, according to Baltimore County Police spokeswoman Julia Hardgrove. A robber approached a 38-year-old woman while she was removing things from her vehicle and pointed a handgun at her back. He told her to get into her vehicle and drive, according to a police report. The woman drove to an alley, and took the woman’s cell phone, money and car keys. He got out of the car and ran down the alley, according to police. Police were not able to located the suspect, the report said.

A juvenile was arrested Wednesday after being charged with fourth-degree burglary of an Arbutus home. At 5:10 p.m., a woman who resides in the 5600 block of Selford Road, heard a knocking sound and found the burglar inside her home, according to a report by Baltimore County police. The burglar had come in through the back, sliding door, and then left, the report states. The suspect is allegedly a "friend of the victim's stepson," and was later arrested.

Violent crime was down nearly 20 percent compared to the five-year average, according to police statistics released Wednesday.
The Wilkens precinct is one of nine Baltimore County police precincts that saw across-the-board drops in crime in 2012 compared to the five-year average. According to statistics released Wednesday, 2012 incidents of Part I violent crime—including homicide, rape, robbery and aggravated assault—were 18.8 percent below the five-year average. That makes the second largest such drop in the county, behind Woodlawn precinct. Overall Part I crime, including arsons, thefts and burglaries, was down 11.6 percent compared to the five-year average. Overall crime was down 8.2 percent compared to the average. Each victim was shot multiple times at about 10 p.m. Friday.
Two people were shot multiple times Friday night in the 2900 block of Bero Road in Lansdowne. At about 10 p.m., two suspects wearing masks shot the victims and ran, according to a news release by Baltimore County police. The victims are in serious condition at Maryland Shock Trauma, the release states. Anyone with information is asked to call Baltimore County Police at 410-307-2020.

Two men facing charges for the rape of two women abducted from Catonsville bus stops have been linked to six other violent crimes—and may be responsible for additional crimes, according to Baltimore County Police Chief James Johnson. William Justin Campbell, 25, and Kenyon Travis Waller, 22, "are responsible for a crime spree that dates back to at least August 11th of this year" and ended when they were apprehended on Oct. 1 and charged with robbery, kidnapping, rape and sexual assault, Johnson said at a press briefing at Baltimore City Police headquarters. Two suspects take purse from 40-year-old woman waiting for bus near Wilkens Beltway Plaza.
A 40-year-old woman was robbed of her purse on Oct. 26 while waiting for a bus at Wilkens Avenue and Maiden Choice Lane near Wilkens Beltway Plaza, according to a police report. At around 6:15, the woman was waiting for the bus when two teenage male suspects walked past and said hello, the report said. When the woman turned around, the suspects pushed the woman against a fence and took her purse, according to the report. The suspects ran down College Avenue to the rear of the 4400 block of Alan Drive, where they took the money and identification out of the victim's wallet and left the purse, the report said.
