Miss Shirley's is a throwback to a time when diners made food like your Momma cooked. I ordered the fried chicken and my wife ordered the grilled cajun catfish. I am a hearty eater and the house won this battle.....I did the doggie bag thing. The dinner came with a nicely spiced and abundantly cheesed vegetarian black bean soup. The chicken was mammoth 4-piece affair. My wife's catfish was ""very fresh and cooked just right", high praise from her discerning palate. The prices were great!!!! This was a clean restaurant thinly decorated otherwise I'd call it a 5-star diner. We'll be back often!!!
