I brought my car in for an oil change and this place 'upgraded' my vehicle to Synthetic oil - without prior authorization - which I had to pay for. When I tried to confront the owner, Mike, he immediately got defensive and blamed me for not specifying I only wanted a "regular" oil change. The customer service here is HORRIBLE. Mike was very rude. He tried to tell me I needed service, which I did not want or believe I needed. When I told him "No, thank you." He immediately became rude and was yelling and threw my receipt at me. I don't know how they stay in business.

Mike's Car Care Center failed to replace the water pump and timing belt he charged me $540 for. (He did change the hoses for $130). When confronted with his fradulent work and was told NOT to do any more work on my car, he went ahead and did a cover-up job (maybe). His mechanic lied that he had done this job twice, then Mike hid in his garage until I left. The water pump did not need replacing in the first place. My point is MIKE does NOT stand behind his work or the work of his shop. He charges for work not done, probably thinking he'd never get caught. This time he did - and he tried to COVER-UP his FRAUD. No STARS for Mike's Car Care Center in Catonsville.
