The Children's Home was founded in 1863 and is a residential care facility that provides both services to children between 13 and 21 years old who have experienced abuse, neglect, violence, abandonment or are in need of supervised care.
During the holidays, each resident submits a wish list for things they would like for the holidays. The center can also use donations such as clothing and board games needed throughout the year.
