Help Fill Chairs for CHAIRity

The Catonsville Chair Project, a fund raising effort of the Catonsville Chamber of Commerce, is sponsoring a CHAIRity Food Drive to benefit the CEFM Network on Friday, August 30th from 7am to 12pm. The Network, originally known as the Catonsville Emergency Food Ministries, recently expanded its facility at 25 Bloomsbury Avenue in Catonsville. While the most noticeable result of the expansion may be the new façade of the building, the most important aspect is the addition of space to store food products and other items to help CEFM better serve its families in need. The CHAIRity Food Drive will help stock those new shelves.

On Friday, August 30, community volunteers with the Catonsville Chair Project will be collecting donations of nonperishables at the intersection of Frederick Rd. and Mellor Avenue from 7 a. m. to 12 noon. Please plan to stop by on your way to work, school or lunch that day. And while you’re there, check out beautifully hand crafted and custom painted Adirondack Chairs that are being auctioned to raise money for improvement projects in the community. Help us fill the Chairs for CHAIRity!
