All are invited to come celebrate the educators nominated for the 3rd Annual Outstanding Teacher Awards on Thursday, April 10 at 5:30 p.m. at the John Erickson Conference Center at Charlestown. Hosted by the Greater Catonsville Chamber of Commerce, the awards recognize the effort, innovation and teamwork that go into making our schools such vibrant and supportive places to learn.

The generous sponsorship of CCBC Catonsville, Charlestown Retirement Community, Huntington Learning Center, Patient First, Senator Edward Kasemeyer, Coldwell Banker Catonsville and McDonald’s Catonsville provide cash and technology prizes for use the in classroom, as well as a wonderful evening in tribute to our schools.

Thirty-eight educators from eighteen different public and private schools in the Catonsville area were nominated for awards in this year’s competition.  Principals from each of the schools chose finalists, and from the list of finalists, winners will be named in the Outstanding Teacher category at the elementary, middle and high school level, with special awards given for distinguished service and Teams That Make a Difference.
