Catonsville’s Best of 2013 to be Honored Next Week

Innovation, community enthusiasm, and revitalization efforts in Catonsville are among the achievements to be celebrated on Thursday, October 17 when the Greater Catonsville Chamber of Commerce hosts the 2013 Catonsville Business Awards.

“Turning Vision into Reality” is the theme of this year’s celebration, which will be held at Rolling Road Golf Club. The evening begins with a cocktail reception at 5:30 p.m., followed by the award presentations at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m.

Businesses to be honored at this year’s award ceremony include The HUB/C’ville Bikes, receiving the Award for Entrepreneurial Spirit, EmbroidMe Catonsville, with the Award for Community Enthusiasm, Automotive Collision Technologies, Inc., receiving the Award for Innovation, Umami Global Bistro, winner of the 2013 Revitalization Award, and ABC Equipment Rental, recipient of this year’s Legacy Award. The winners of two very special awards, however, remain a secret and will not be announced until the ceremony on October 17. These are the Catonsville Businessperson of the Year and the winner of the President’s Award.
