Lurman Woodland Theatre Concerts Feature Bands Saturdays, Sundays

Concerts are free, held outdoors in Catonsville, and are free of charge.

Bring a lawnchair, a picnic and even your kids and grandkids to the Lurman Woodland Theatre for summer weekend evenings music outdoors of music outdoors.

The concerts this week feature rock from 1963 to 1973 by The Back Pages Band on Saturday, according to a news release. On Sunday, The Deanna Bogart Band is scheduled to perform variety of music, including bluegrass, rhythm and blues.

Concerts are held each week from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, through Sunday, Aug. 25, it states.

According to the release, concerts through June are:

June 22: The Gigs play classic 1960s rock, including by British artists

June 23: Bayside Big Band

June 27: Everyman plays rock, jazz, blues, funk, soul and more

June 28: Richie Fields plays high-energy country

The full schedule, including July and August, is on the theater website, where there's also info on volunteering at the concerts, and on what you can and cannot bring.

A concert schedule hotline is also available at 1-877-278-0961. Inclement weather schedule changes will be posted at least one hour before show time, the site states.
