Catonsville July 4th Schedule of Events

What you need to know to enjoy the holiday.

Catonsville's most popular annual event is less than 48 hours away. The July 4th parade kicks off at 3 p.m., but do you know about all of the other events going on throughout the day?

Here's a list of activities from the Catonsville Celebrations Committee:

9:30 a.m: Decorated bike contest and other kids games at . Games include: lollipop scramble, quarter hunt, ball on spoon race, shoe scramble, leapfrog, sack races and more. Boys and girls events are divided among children in four age groups; 2–3 years, 4–6 years, 7–9 years and 10–13 years.

11 a.m: Free concert at .

1:30 p.m: Fourth annual Hot Dog Eating Contest in front of where 20 contestants will compete to win Catonsville Biggest Weiner

3 p.m: Parade begins at the corner of Montrose Avenue and Frederick Road. The parade will end at Bloomsbury Avenue.

6:30 p.m: Family Fun Fest before the fireworks at that include more than a dozen vendors and music from the School of Rock.
