Tim Hall, the incoming director of athletics at UMBC, will be formally introduced on campus today.
UMBC President Freeman Hrabowski will help with the introductions at 3:30 p.m. at The Sports Zone's mezzanine level in the UMBC Commons, according to an email from the school's Associate Director of Athletics Steve Levy.
Hall's last job was at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, according to an article on CNSBaltimore.com.
"He will take over at UMBC on July 8 and replace Dr. Charles Brown, retiring on June 30 as the longest-tenured NCAA Division I director in Maryland history," the article states.
