Warrenfeltz was friends with Nick Adenhart, a pitcher who was also from Williamsport High who made it to the Major Leagues to play for the Angels in 2009.

But Adenhart was killed in a car crash just hours after pitching in his fourth Major League game early in 2009.

Warrenfeltz was shaken by that and had to deal with similar feelings again in the spring of 2012 when a player on his Williamsport team was killed in a car crash late in the season. Brendon Colliflower also was a very good pitcher but died in that car crash.

The article talks about how Williamsport's baseball team bounced back after the accident to rally and win a state championship.
