Orioles Home Opener Forecast Clears Up

Rain had been predicted for Friday afternoon.

Going downtown for the Orioles home opener on Friday? You may be able to leave the umbrella at home.

Rain set to move in Thursday night and continue Friday will move out of the Baltimore area by noon at the latest, a few hours before the Orioles host the Minnesota Twins at Camden Yards at 3:05 p.m., according to the latest National Weather Service forecast for Baltimore.

There is 80 percent chance of rain Thursday and a 40 percent chance on Friday. That's a change from earlier forecasts.

Friday's high could get up to 60, according to the forecast. If you're visiting games later in the Orioles' homestand, the rest of the forecast appears dry. The high will get to 56 on Saturday and 63 on Sunday, before getting into the 70s next week.
