Join us for a FREE Cuban Salsa "Rueda" Wokshop to be
held by Barbara Bernstein of Dance In Time Productions at Dance & Artistic Expressions Studio in Catonsville!!!

Dance instructor: Barbara Bernstein has taught Salsa full time for over ten years. She holds a Ph.D. in
Education with expertise in teaching methods, and was formerly a college mathematics instructor. Barbara is an exceptionally qualified and skilled instructor.

Cuban style Salsa is the style that is most like the Salsa done in Cuba, where the dance has its roots. Many
say that this style is characterized by a sort of male dominance. (It does seem that some of the moves show off what the men can do.) Cuban style dancers don't
tend to do fast, multiple spins. In addition, the movement of the partners in this style tends to be circular as opposed to linear.
