Whiz Kid: Woodbridge Elementary Student Places Fourth in Baltimore Spelling Bee

Alexandra Grayson placed fourth out of 60 students.

Alexandra Grayson, a fifth-grader at , placed fourth overall in the Baltimore Spelling Bee.

The event was held March 12 at Towson University in partnership with Learn It Systems.

A total of 60 students in grades third through eighth competed in the event, which included students from Baltimore city and county schools.

Grayson had won the school's spelling bee and competed in Towson along with Brandon Harris, who is also a fifth-grader at Woodbridge Elementary School.
