UMBC System Interrupted on Friday
The school's Student Administration System was restored in the afternoon after being out for about two-and-a-half hours.
UMBC's Student Administration System sustained a service interruption for about two-and-a-half hours on Friday, but service to it was restored by the afternoon, according to a note on the school's web site.
The service interruption was fixed by 2 p.m. with service to it restored, and the note said that it's available to students, faculty and staff.
It also said that students had until midnight on Friday, Feb. 8 to make scheduled adjustments.

The note also instructed poeple that "if you are still having trouble connecting, please restart your web browser and clear the cache."
If more help is needed, submit an RT (Request Tracker) ticket through my.umbc.edu/help or check with the school's Technology Support Center at 410-455-3838, it said.
