Local Resident/Wounded Warriors Return from Climbing Mt. McKinley

Kirk Bauer, local resident of Catonsville and Executive Director of Disabled Sports USA/Warfighter Sports, returns from climbing Mt. McKinley with other Wounded Warriors.  He will be presenting photographs and stories of their experiences and journey to the top. An above the knee amputee from the Vietnam War, he teamed with other wounded warriors in June to embark on a month-long climb to the top of Mt. McKinley. Bauer helped create the Warfighter Sports program for rehabilitation of severely injured military from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
