Combining Technical Skills with Public Service: Confessions of a Political Economist

Scott Farrow, UMBC professor of economics and affiliate professor of public policy, will present the free, public talk "Combining Technical Skills with Public Service: Confessions of a Political Economist" on April 25th at UMBC.

Before joining the UMBC faculty in 2005, Farrow served as Chief Economist at the U.S.Government Accountability Office and also in the Executive Office of the President of the United States.

This inaugural Phi Kappa Phi lecture is part of UMBC's spring 2012 Social Sciences Forum series. Parking for community members will be in Lot 8 (fee: $.50). UMBC students who attend can enter a raffle to win a Kindle Fire.
