Superintendent to begin series of community meetings

For the second year, Baltimore County Public Schools’ Superintendent S. Dallas Dance will begin the school year by hosting a series of community meetings to meet the public and discuss education and school-related issues with interested citizens. The five meetings to be held this fall at county high schools are part of Dr. Dance’s commitment to have timely, transparent and clear communications and to be responsive to the community. Another series of five meetings will be held in the spring.

- 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 16 at Dundalk High School, 1901 Delvale Avenue, Dundalk
- 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18 at Lansdowne High School, 3800 Hollins Ferry Road, Lansdowne
Back to School Nights continue at BCPS schools
What: Baltimore County Public Schools continue holding Back to School Night events as a way to prepare students and their families for a successful start to the new school year. The events give parents an important way of learning about the school, its unique opportunities, upcoming events, volunteer and involvement activities and other facets of school life.
When: Back to School Night events began Tuesday, August 20, at some schools and continue at BCPS schools throughout the county until mid-September.
