Schools close as the heat index is expected to approach 100 degrees.

Summer may be over, but late-season swelter will send children in Baltimore County home early Wednesday.
All Baltimore County public schools will close two hours early Wednesday as the result of heat.
In addition, afternoon and after-school activities are cancelled.
