After the Storm in Baltimore County: School, Curbside Collection Updates

Get the details on trash and recycling pickup, schools and roads.

Monday's winter storm has come and gone, leaving behind questions about Tuesday. Here's what we know:

Roads: Baltimore County reported that it would plow throughout the night to clear roads and advised drivers to proceed with caution. As of 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, the county reported that all roads had been plowed but some snowy patches remain until salt becomes effective. Check the Baltimore County Snowfighter page for updates. Roads will most likely be icy, the State Highway Administration said. Check here for road incidents on state highways.

Schools: Baltimore County Public Schools will open two hours late on Tuesday. There will be no morning prekindergarten.

Curbside Collection:
If you have set out your trash for collection for Monday, March 3, leave it out until collection occurs. If you set out your recycling for Monday, March 3, and it has not been collected, retrieve it and set it out for collection for Monday, March 10.
