The US Senate Race That Could

Find out why people from EVERY state in this great nation dig deep into their wallets on a daily basis. They're not just looking to win a race; they're desperate to save their country.

When I started working with the Bongino Campaign 16 months ago, most of my closest political friends thought I was absolutely crazy.  This would kill my career, my future in Maryland politics.  But I saw something they didn't...an absolutely amazing candidate.  As time went on, I clearly wasn't the only one to see that, and most of my friends, by the way, came around as well.

Working on the fundraising side of the campaign, I watched as the momentum began to build, and boy did it.  Not only can Bongino clearly translate complicated subject matters into plain speak, but his ideas are fresh, realistic and free from the same old rhetoric we're all used to hearing.  We've been blessed with amazing media coverage, over 3000 volunteers across the state, and now we come to find out that we out raised ALL candidates in the state of Maryland in the third quarter, including our opponent.  We knew the numbers for huge when we posted $735,000 for the quarter.  For a relatively unknown Republican candidate in this deep blue state, that's ridicluous.  But to out raise Cardin by $100,000?  Crazy, right?

Now if you're still sitting on the sidelines, uninformed about this race, I don't care what party you affiliate yourself with, just check him out.  Find out why people from EVERY state in this great nation dig deep into their wallets on a daily basis.  They're not just looking to win a race; they're desperate to save their country.

On occassion, when I'm not traveling the state raising money, I like email people that contribute from back home, Georgia, where I grew up.  No matter how big or small the contribution is, I just like to say thank you for their investment.

This past week, one came in from L.J. in Grovetown, GA.  He was floored that I would reach out, but it was his remarks that almost brought me to tears.  I just have to share them.

"I have to say that Dan is just amazing.  I know he faces an uphill battle and needs all the help he can get.  I hope the people of Maryland are able to recognize what Dan has to offer.  If he is not elected in Maryland, the RNC better pluck him up and get him in position where his greatness can be recognized.  Guys like Dan are the future of our country!  He inspires me!  I have asked my FB friends to contribute to his campaign.  Hopefully the money bomb will be very successful!"

Over the next couple of days, several of his friends followed suit.  They became part of the movement.  They now have skin in this game, like the 5000 other individual donors across the USA.  I can't explain what it's like to be part of something bigger than just a political campaign.  It's humbling, especially considering the odds of an actual win.

If you're an apathetic Republican thinking about sitting home on E-Day out of protest, I'll use one of my favorite Dan lines, "You're not part of the problem, you are the problem."  This is our home and quite frankly, I'm sick and tired of a one-party monopoly with zero accountability treating struggling families like ATM machines.  We need balance.  We need our voice back.  We need people like Dan Bongino.

If you're unaffiliated or a Democrat dissappointed with the direction your party is going, I urge you to just take a look.  Don't walk into this election blindly.  I'm not asking you to switch parties.  I'm just asking you to vote for the person not the party.

Now, if you like what you see, which I'm quite confident you will, then why not join the movement yourself.  Contribute a little today and help us win this thing.
