Work on Frederick Road Bridge Will Close Beltway Lanes Starting this Week
Lane closures will be in the evening hours.
The next stage in construction for the replacement of the bridge will start this week. Crews will place protection shields under the bridge to protect motorists while work is being done.
As a result of the work, one or two lanes of traffic will be closed on both the inner and outer loops of the Beltway starting this week. Single lane closures will start at 7 p.m. and double lane closures will start at 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following day Sunday through Thursday.
