Wilkens Avenue Bridge Closed for Overnight Construction Starting Wednesday
Wilkens Avenue will be closed over I-695 overnight Wednesday and possibly for the next eight weeknights.
Wilkens Avenue will be closed overnight starting Wednesday as Maryland State Highway Administration workers install new steel beams.
Wilkens Avenue over I-695 will be closed starting at 11 p.m. on Wednesday, and all lanes will re-open by 5 a.m. the next morning, according to an SHA press release.
The SHA said work is expected to last up to eight weeknights.
