Where to Recycle Your Christmas Tree

Baltimore County will pick up trees starting Jan. 9.

If you're ready to get rid of the Christmas tree, don't put it out on the curb until Jan. 9.

Starting on that day, Baltimore County will start collecting trees over a two-week period. Residents should have their tree out by Jan. 14 to guarantee that it will be picked up.

County collectors will pick up Christmas trees in county trash and recycling trucks. The trees will be delivered to county facilities to be chipped and later used as mulch.
