Weather Update: Schools Closed, Freezing Rain Throughout Region
Temperatures expected to rise above freezing in the afternoon.
Baltimore County Public Schools are closed today as weather forecasts call for a small accumulation of ice through the morning hours.
The National Weather Service is calling for an additional few hundredths of an inch of freezing rain to fall throughout the morning. A winter storm warning remains in effect until 12 p.m. today.
Also canceled include the public hearing on the BCPS operating budget that was scheduled for tonight. The meeting will be held Wednesday night instead at 7 p.m. at Ridge Ruxton School in Towson.

All campuses are opening two hours late today. UMBC will also open two hours late.
