Sunday Hours Expand at Catonsville Library

Spending a Sunday afternoon at the Catonsville Library used to be an impossibility during the summer since Sunday hours were essentially reserved for the school year.

But now Baltimore County Public Libraries has announced an extension of summer hours to year-round at all library branches, The Baltimore Sun reported this week.

Of course, with this summer almost over, the new summer hours from 1-5 p.m. on Sundays won't really kick in until 2014. The change officially goes into effect Sept. 8.

Will you use the Catonsville Library on Sundays next summer? Was this a good move for the public libraries in Baltimore County? Tell us in the comments.
