Resurfacing of Frederick Road Will Continue For Several More Nights

Project is part of SHA's ongoing highway maintenance operation program.

Travelers heading east on Frederick Road through downtown Catonsville may have noticed a new, smoother surface in the past few days.

Through the overnight hours for several more days, more sections of Frederick Road in both directions will be re-paved and patched. The $300,000 project is part of the State Highway Administration's highway maintenance program.

Work will be completed from Frederick Road at South Rolling Road to Wade Avenue.

Crews from Timonium-based Gray & Son will only work in the evening hours from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Sunday through Thursday. If lanes are closed, there will be a flag person there to direct drivers.

There will also be temporary overnight on-street parking restrictions along sections of Frederick Road so crews may repair and patch parking lanes.
