Health Occupations - Dental Hygienists - Local Anesthesia: This law allows dental hygienists to administer local anesthesia under certain circumstances after they have completed required course work and examination. Kathleen A. Mathias Chemotherapy Parity Act of 2012: This law prohibits insurers, nonprofit health service plans, and health maintenance organizations from imposing limits or less favorable coverage for oral chemotherapy than what is provided for chemotherapy that is administered intravenously or by injection.
