Rabies Vaccination Clinics

The Baltimore County Department of Health will provide rabies shots for dogs and cats at the Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department on Wednesday, May 25.

Clinics will be held rain or shine at various locations throughout the county.  Vaccinations are $7.00 per animal.  Rabies vaccinations protect domestic animals and humans from the threat of rabies, a potentially fatal infectious disease that is uncontrolled in the wild.

Animals receiving rabies shots must be at least 12 weeks old.  All animals must be on leashes or in carriers; cats may be carried in a pillowcase.  Due to time constraints, safety and escape risk, uncontrollable animals will not be vaccinated during the clinics.  Aggressive dogs must be muzzled.

Baltimore County law requires pets to be licensed and for rabies vaccinations to be kept up-to-date.
