With the turnout for this year's early voting exceeding the 2010 election, lines at the early voting center at Bloombsbury Community Center on Friday were long but manageable.
"It was pleasant," said Deborah Jackson of Catonsville, who said that she voted early because "I wanted to get my vote in."
"The lines were smooth and well-organized," Jackson said.
Early voting was a matter of convenience for Andrew Walz, who lives in Timonium and attends school at University of Maryland in College Park.
Considering the distances involved, making it to the polls on election day might be a tight fit.
"This is easier to do," Walz said.
