Charles Sydnor to Run for District 44B Delegate

The Catonsville resident will join Patrick Young and Rainier Harvey in the race.

Catonsville resident Charles Sydnor III, 39, will be the third Baltimore County man to enter the race for District 44B in the House of Delegates, according to the Baltimore Sun.

A senior attorney at Enterprise Community Partners in Columbia, Sydnor will be joining Catonsville's Marine Corps veteran Patrick Young and Windsor Mill resident Rainier Harvey in the race to fill the Houses' open seats, which were due to veteran legislator Del. Shirley Nathan-Pulliam's announcement to run for the District 44 state Senate seat in 2014.

"I can't really say much about them [Harvey and Young], but what I can say about me is that, in my running, they [the people] will have a candidate to consider who is sincere and who cares about the community," Sydnor told the Sun when asked about his competition.

Sydnor told the Sun he will dedicate the next few months to getting to know his constituents and hearing directly from them the district's main issues.
