West County Crime: Police Car Accident, Stabbing, Juvenile Arrests

Catonsville

Delrey Avenue. Unit block. March 8. A man was turning his vehicle into his driveway when the vehicle behind him attempted to pass him on the right side. Both vehicles stopped, and the man who was trying to get into his driveway got out of his vehicle. There was an altercation, and the man was stabbed several times during the fight.

Baltimore National Pike and Coleridge Road. March 6. An officer crashed into a tree after swerving to avoid striking a civilian vehicle. The officer was responding to another officer in need of assistance. The officer in the accident was transported to shock trauma for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Baltimore National Pike. 6400 block. March 6. A man was arrested after pointing a handgun at an employee of Popeye’s and taking money from the register. The suspect was linked to an attempted armed robbery that occurred several minutes before at the 7-Eleven in the 1600 block of Edmonson Avenue.

Lansdowne

Hillcrest Park. March 6. Two juveniles were arrested after assaulting two victims and displaying knives. The juveniles did not take any property and tried to run from the scene. There were three suspect who displayed knives, but responding officers arrested two.

Halethorpe

Annapolis Road. 4200 block. March 5. A robber stole money from the cash register at Luckies Suprette. The suspect gave the cashier money for a soda, and when she opened the register, he pushed her out of the way and grabbed money from the register. He left in a vehicle.
