Sexual Assault Suspects Identified

Three of the four suspects linked to Oct. 20 sexual assault reported at Catonsville High School property have been identified by police, according to officials.

Investigators have learned the identities of three of the four suspects involved in a sexual assault of two 13-year-old girls that reportedly occurred at Catonsville High School on the night of Oct. 20, according to police.

"Three of the four suspects have been identified for the sexual assault that occurred at the Rec and Parks football game on Saturday night," said police spokeswoman Cpl. Cathleen Batton.

According to police, at around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday night, the two girls met a male acquaintance and three of his friends near the athletic field concession stand during a Catonsville Recreation and Parks football game.

The suspects tried to talk the victims into going with them into a nearby wooded area. When the girls refused, the suspects reportedly dragged them into the woods, where they exposed themselves and touched the victims inappropriately, according to police.

The four suspects exposed themselves and touched the girls inappropriately, police said.

Batton said that the three known suspects range in age from 13 to 15 years old. Police have not released their names or any other identifying information.

Police officers are currently working on identifying the fourth suspect, according to Batton said.

No charges have been filed yet, and the investigation is ongoing, she said.

Obviously it is very hard for some ! Have a great day! Ask yourself this by you knowing ages and names is it going to benefit you or anyone else? The proper authorities obviously have identified the suspects they are doing their job! Instead of being so interested in who we should be praying for the kids involved!

What a red herring. KNOWING the names is not the issue. the headline tells me I will get to read them since they were IDENTIFIED. And YES it is important to know the names. As I do with many of these instances, I go to the court records and see just how many times these people were charged, convicted and what the sentences were. As we see so damn often, the perp SHOULD have still been in jail or was on probation while committing more crimes. that way we can see just how screwed up this justus system is. I am beginning to believe you are related to one of the subjects given your interest.

I 100% agree with the above statement, however the story is still not truthful and that is where my issue is. this story presents this to be fact when it is not. At this point and according to the story it is " Under Investigation". The title is extremely misleading and assumes guilt on the part of the young men accused. I have young daughters so I am always concerned to hear about things like this however as it states above, there a lot of assumptions being made here. I hope as facts and details come about this story continue to be updated. Look as I stated I have daughters so trust me I am not suggesting this is not a big deal, but I also believe in due process and not prying on sensational titles to grab attention.

Joe let me make it very clear I am in no way related nor do I know who any of the victims or suspects are ! I am relieved to hear that our police department have identified the alleged suspects and that they are doing their job to rectify the situation so that justice is served. If it takes you looking on Maryland case search to figure out our justice system is screwed up I am sorry. When I commented it was to state that people need to read the information fully before commenting to avoid arguments ! Also may I point out that the majority of journalism is headlined to get your attention an obviously it did just that! I don't have the time nor the desire to argue over ridiculous comments I am a working professional a well as a volunteer in this community. Instead of worrying about names and ages I spend my time giving back to this community what it gave to me ! I spend my time volunteering and working with the kids in this community to try and help them grow up to be well mannered , responsible adults! May I add I am also a mother and I want to work to better this community so that my daughter grows up in a safe community! Instead of talking I take action! Might I suggest you do the same and if you are not a volunteer in this community you become one and be a productive part of changing and bettering our community!
