Sexual Assault Suspects Identified

Three of the four suspects linked to Oct. 20 sexual assault reported at Catonsville High School property have been identified by police, according to officials.

Investigators have learned the identities of three of the four suspects involved in a sexual assault of two 13-year-old girls that reportedly occurred at Catonsville High School on the night of Oct. 20, according to police.

"Three of the four suspects have been identified for the sexual assault that occurred at the Rec and Parks football game on Saturday night," said police spokeswoman Cpl. Cathleen Batton.

According to police, at around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday night, the two girls met a male acquaintance and three of his friends near the athletic field concession stand during a Catonsville Recreation and Parks football game.

The suspects tried to talk the victims into going with them into a nearby wooded area. When the girls refused, the suspects reportedly dragged them into the woods, where they exposed themselves and touched the victims inappropriately, according to police.

Batton said that the three known suspects range in age from 13 to 15 years old. Police have not released their names or any other identifying information.

Police officers are currently working on identifying the fourth suspect, according to Batton said.

No charges have been filed yet, and the investigation is ongoing, she said.
