Report: Robber Uses Note, Implied Gun, To Steal Smokes

The Royal Farms at 504 Edmondson Avenue in Catonsville was the site of a robbery Friday, according to a report by Baltimore County police.

Royal Farms on Edmondson Avenue was the target of an armed robber Friday.

Between 3:05 p.m. and 3:08 p.m., a man passed a note to the clerk of the store at 504 Edmondson Ave. in Catonsville, according to a report by the Baltimore County Police Department's Wilkens Precinct. The note implied that he had a gun.

He stole four packs of Newport 100 cigarettes, the report states.

The suspect is described as a black man between the ages of 25 and 35, the report states. He is 5-foot 4-inches tall, and weighs 200 pounds. He has short black hair, a scruffy gray beard.

He wore a black polo shirt, with black pants and a gray baseball cap, it states.
