Report: 3 Teens Carjack Baltimore Adult in Catonsville

The following information is provided by the Baltimore County Police Department's Wilkens Precinct, which covers Catonsville, Arbutus, Lansdowne and other areas. Charges do not indicate convictions.

Juveniles paid a Baltimore man $7 to drive them from Baltimore to Catonsville, then carjacked him afterward.

At 12:11 a.m. Sunday, the driver picked up one male teenager on Edmondson Avenue in Baltimore. The teen paid him $7, and promised $7 more after they got to the destination.

When they got to the 500 block of Dorchester Road, the teen went into a home and, instead of coming out with another $7 to pay the driver as planned, came out with two other male teens—one carrying a 12-gauge shotgun, according to a report by Baltimore County police.

One pointed the gun at the driver, ordered him out of his Ford Explorer, stole his keys, and the three drove away in it, the report states.

Police found the vehicle two streets away and returned it to its owner, who resides in the Westgate area of Baltimore, it states. The keys are still missing.
