Police Seek Identity of Man Who Robbed Giant Grocery Store

The man may also be responsible for two bank robberies in the Towson area.

Baltimore County police are looking for a man who robbed the Giant Food grocery store on Baltimore National Pike in Catonsville in August.

The same man is also suspected of robbing a PNC Bank inside the Giant Food on the 8100 block of Loch Raven Blvd. in Towson on July 19 and August 16.

According to police, the robbery of the Giant in Catonsville occurred on August 26 at 7:10 p.m. The man waited in the cash register area until one of the cashiers opened her drawer.

When she did, he pushed her aside, grabbed money out of the cash register and ran out of the store.

The circumstances at the PNC Bank inside the Giant at Towson, according to police.

He is described as a 6-foot-tall black man between 35 and 45 years old with a thin build and freckles.
