Police Seek Identity of Man who Robbed Catonsville Safeway in June

Police believe the man may have also robbed a bank in Towson.

Baltimore County police released a surveillance photo of a man they say robbed the Suntrust Bank inside the Safeway in Catonsville.

On June 29 at 2:12 p.m., the suspect walked into the bank, located on the 5600 block of Baltimore National Pike, and passed the teller a note asking for money, according to police. The man was then seen leaving the store and getting into a car with another man.

Police believe the same man may be responsible for robbing the PNC Bank inside the Giant Food in Towson, which is located on the 8100 block of Loch Raven Blvd, on June 4. In that robbery the suspect also passed the teller a note.

Police described the suspect as a black male between 25 and 35 years old, between 5-feet-10 inches and 6-feet tall and between 150 and 175 pounds. He has a medium complexion, brown eyes and tattoos on both forearms.
