Police Blotter: Burglaries in the Area

Based on information provided by Baltimore County Police Department.

Oct. 22: At some time since 5 p.m. on Oct. 19, an unknown person entered a business on the 5100 block of Baltimore National Pike through an unlocked rear window, went through several offices and took three checkbooks.

Oct. 23: At midnight, a resident on the 2100 block of Old Frederick Rd. was awakened by a loud noise. The resident checked out the premises and found nothing wrong. The next morning, the resident discovered pry marks on a rear basement window, but entry was not gained into the residence.

Oct. 23: At some time since 7 p.m. the previous evening, an unknown person cut the lock of a garage on the 1200 block of Leeds Terrace, but nothing inside was taken.
