Police Arrest Three For July 4th Catonsville Stabbing

A 22-year-old Catonsville man was stabbed after getting into a verbal altercation with people nearby.

Baltimore County Police have made three arrests in connection with a that occurred after the July 4th fireworks in Catonsville.

A group of people were walking back from the July 4th fireworks on South Rolling Road when they got into a verbal altercation with another group of people at 10:48 p.m. The groups were split up, but one group later came back in a car. Several people got out and fought the group on Newburg Avenue. During the fight, a 22-year-old Catonsville man was stabbed.

Baltimore County Police arrested Tyrell Edward Elliott, 23, of the 900 block of Masefield Road in Gwynn Oak; Veronica Broadnax, 22, of the unit block of Winters Lane in Catonsville and Amanda Broadnax, 20, of the 1100 block of Poplar Grove Avenue in Baltimore.

Police charged Elliott with attempted first-degree murder and two counts of first and second-degree assault. Amanda Broadnax was charged with attempted first-degree murder and first-degree assault and Veronica Broadnax was charged with attempted first-degree murder, according to Lt. John Rossbach.
